A time just for girls to hang out, get to know each other talk about things important to us

Every Monday in Nov.
6:00pm-8:30pm - Dinner will be provided.

Who:
North Park neighborhood kids entering K-5th grades

Kids Club

What:
Fun times at the Friendship House—games, stories, snacks, crafts, & hanging out w/ neighbors

When:
3:00-5:00 on Tuesdays: K-1st graders, Wednesdays, 2nd-3rd graders, Thursdays, 4th-5th graders

Greetings from North Park! I am Laura Herridge and I have lived here since October 2010 with my family—my husband Bart and my children Will and Annie. We are richly blessed to serve here with the Friendship House sponsor, Hardin-Simmons University, and to be neighbors to some really amazing people. We have learned so much from them about how to care more deeply for those around us. I hope you’ll stop by and visit with us sometime soon!

...is home to neighbors who have lived here since the 1920’s and neighbors who have moved in and joined us in the last few weeks! North Park is vibrant, diverse, and has thousands of stories to tell.

...is home to Hardin-Simmons University, the original home of Connecting Caring Communities. HSU is the financial sponsor of the Friendship House and provides many of North Park's volunteers.

...the North Park Friendship House sits on the southwest corner of the property which, from 1909 until the late 1970’s, held North Park Grade School and Ben Milam Elementary. There are a number of neighbors still here who attended or had children attend one of these schools.
