Drew Bowen is a recent Abilene Christian University graduate with a degree in Sociology/Christian Ministry. He has been married to his wife, Amanda, for more than two years, and they recently moved into the College Heights neighborhood. His passions include community development, racial reconciliation, and inter-church/inter-denominational cooperation.
Originally from Bryan, TX, Drew served at Camp of the Hills for thirteen years, working with at-risk youth from across Texas and Oklahoma. He loves to play or watch sports, worship with new people, and dream of ways to be a part of Abilene becoming a better place for us all.
Drew became enamored by CCC through friends who worked and volunteered for the organization. The relationship deepened as CCC brought campers to Camp of the Hills. As Drew sought full-time employment after college, he knew community development with CCC was his first choice. Instead of working with at-risk youth in a rural, camp setting, he now has the opportunity to work with individuals and families in their homes and neighborhoods.
